Thailand's annual beauty pageant for transsexuals and transvestites crowned 25-year-old Piyathida Sakulthai (whose name means 'good Thai daughter') Miss Tiffany Universe 2001. She won over 51 finalists before competing for the crown of Miss Queen of the Universe held in the United States.
